As an author and artist, my life is a whirlwind of unfinished projects, a chaos of looming deadlines and scattered ideas. My life wasn’t always like this, though. My career actually began in social work. I realize now that I wouldn’t be who I am today if I chose a different path. Though demanding, that path hands down shaped me into the mother, wife, and person I am today.
But then, everything in my life changed when my youngest child came into the world. I never knew my heart could contain so much love. He was born right before Covid, and during that scary time, my mind came into absolute focus.
Life’s too short to have regrets, and what ifs?
Then a different story swirled in my thoughts. A story that involves a journey I am still on today.
